Every year, thousands of healthy animals are put down in Ontario.  Spaying or Neutering our animals before they leave the shelter ensures that they will not add to the problem.  It also offers many health benefits for the animals and reduces undesirable behaviours like territorial marking.

As a result, the price of adopting a dog or cat from the shelter has increased due to the fact that most animals are adopted out already spayed or neutered.

The adoption process is now quicker, you come in and fill out an adoption application and is then assessed/reviewed.  This process is usually done the same day or next day and your new companion is ready to be taken home.
